Prior to joining LTI, Panjwani served as director of information security at Florida-based fintech major, Fidelity National Information Services (FIS). LTI-Mindtree merger

On 14 November, L&T Infotech and Mindtree’s previously-announced merger had finally come into effect – making LTIMindtree the fifth largest IT/ITeS company in India.

Debashis Chatterjee, CEO of LTIMindtree, in his statement issued at the time said: “Armed with top talent, comprehensive offerings, and a cumulative experience of more than five decades, LTIMindtree brings the diversity of scale and capabilities required to help businesses reimagine possibilities, deliver impact, and get to the future faster.”

The combined entity, Chatterjee went on to say, would operate with a “stronger, highly diversified portfolio” of end-to-end services and skills. Backed by a stronger balance sheet, LTIMindtree is expected to ramp up investments in building platforms and technologies and acquiring talent.
